GPS Timing Antenna with Lightning Protection, 40dB Amplifier, 1.565-1.585 GHz & 1.602-1.615 GHz

The PCTEL GPS timing reference antenna is specifically designed for durable and reliable deployment in congested cell-site applications. It is a right-hand circularly polarized antenna that incorporates a 40 dB low noise amplifier.

The antenna is ideal for systems with signal loss from long cable runs. The 40 dB high gain amplifier is designed to address these attenuation issues. PCTEL's proprietary quadrifiliar helix design, coupled with multi-stage filtering provides superior out-of-band rejection and lower elevation pattern performance than a traditional patch antenna.

The GPSGL-TMG-SPI-40N's unique radome shape sheds water and ice and prevents bird perching. The antenna also features ESD, reverse polarity protection, and transit voltage suppression.

This antenna includes PCTEL's GPS-TMG-MMD Mount Kit.

Critically, the GPSGL-TMG-SPI-40N also provides integrated lightning protection. This removes the need for downstream, in-line surge suppressors.
